guardian. 13-17 must have parents consent. Community

There are infinite rewards to becoming a volunteer. There is something for
everyone. With over 150 birds at the sanctuary at any given time you can be sure
they will keep you going. If you would like to come out just to spend time with the
animals here we can use you. Just by sitting and talking to the birds it gets them
accustomed to a variety of people and increases the opportunity for them to find a
loving home. Other tasks include, but are not limited are;
Preparing meals and feeding
Assist in taming birds
Garden and landscape
Help fund raise
Assist in web site/ newsletter
Education and outreach
Bake or cook for the birds
Cage and aviary cleaning
There are many ways that you can have a positive impact on the lives of these
glorious creatures. Please contact us or stop in for a visit.
Volunteering isn't always easy. There are also floors to
sweep and mop and lots of bowls to wash! But great
teamwork and bird chatter in the background still make
those tasks fun and entertaining.
You can also volunteer from home. Networking, sharing
Facebook and Instagram posts and telling your friends
about us is always appreciated.
We are always in need of volunteers to pick up donated
cages or other items.
